Senior Supervising Attorney, Children's Rights

Multiple Locations:  Montgomery (AL), Miami (FL) and New Orleans (LA)

Children's Rights - Reporting to Deputy Legal Director, Zoe Savitsky, the Senior Supervising Attorney will use every possible tool available - including litigation and legislative and public advocacy - to challenge the privatization of public education and the structural inequalities that disproportionately direct vulnerable children from the classroom and toward prison and prevent them from accessing the services they need to flourish in their communities. The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally talented impact litigator, strategist, and manager who will help build a team focused on pursuing justice on behalf of vulnerable children. Criminal Justice Reform - Reporting to Deputy Legal Director, Lisa Graybill, the new Senior Supervising Attorney will use every possible tool available - including litigation and legislative and public advocacy - to challenge the structural inequalities in Alabama's criminal justice system that result in mass incarceration and the disproportionate incarceration of people of color.
