MIAMI-DADE STATE ATTORNEY’S OFFICE, 11TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT
The Legal Division of the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office provides pretrial and trial support for the assistants. Duties include researching and being able to orally provide legal support for assistants in court as well as writing motions on investigative, pretrial and trial issues; handling post-conviction motions; researching, writing and arguing appellate briefs and petitions; and attending trials of complex cases. Minimum 5 years of extensive criminal experience required, with appellate experience preferred as excellent writing skills are necessary. Membership in the Florida Bar is also required. Salary will be commensurate with experience, within the range of $55,000 to $65,000 per annum. The full package of State benefits accompanies this position.
